Heartbreak Sailor.
"Heartbreak Sailor" by Annie Trezza
Here's the link to one of the most recent songs I've wrote.
It's called "Heartbreak Sailor".
One of my favorite tunes I've written, I'm preety happy with the way it came out.
Wrote it while I was down south, In one of my favorite cities, so It defenitely means alot to me.
And even better, I wrote the song in my head while I was surfing!
I was the only one in the water, on a windy day and I was surfing in a state other then home, at a break I don't know like the back of my hand so The chorus part came to mind.
Then when I got to shore I immediately ran to my book wrote it down and came up with some more.
That night I played around with the words a little bit and the music just came right out along with it.
Also in the process of making a little music video for it.
So here's some photos from the shots I had my brother film while we were hanging in Montauk.
Give it a quick listen and hope you enjoy!
Thanks,
Annie Trezza.

It's been way too long...
Wow. So an entire winter has gone by, and even half of Spring. It's now May 2013 and I have been so blessed. In the past year I have traveled to Eight different states and many different cities. In the fall I spent a few days in Massachusetts, and saw Boston for the first time. Then I spent a good five days visiting my best friend in Philly. Spent a very creative fall in Montauk, my favorite place in the world. And then I packed my bag and headed to the west coast for the first time in my life. From Jan. 10th to Feb. 26th I was in California. Spent some time in Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, San Diego, and the San Fran area, traveling by train and cars with some friends and fam. Then I took a 18hour "Starlight Coast" train ride to Portland, Oregon where I spent a few days snowboarding on Mt. Hood and the other three days skating around the city. After that I flew to Denver, Colorado where I spent a week with my long lost cousin in Colorado Springs.
Stopped home for two weeks and then I boarded that good ol' southbound train to a long awaited destination, Charleston, SC. I spent a little over 2 weeks there and that of course wasn't enough time! But still, I had many great experiences, spent much time with good friends I don't get to see very often and it was once again a life changing experience in that city. I've been so happy ever since and not to mention, taken a long awaited and planned break from the good ol mary jane and my brain is feeling much better. As well as my whole body.
After Charleston I spent five days with my Nutty Uncle Kurt in Southport, NC. Which was also quite an experience.
So basically I've wrote all this now because well due to being computer deprived this whole time I've just been blogging everything down in my sketchbooks and brains, and there's lots to share so I think for now I'm gonna just post a thing or two everyday that I saw or felt on this amazing venture.
From west to east, from north to south I had the adventure of my life.
Met some of the most amazing people I've ever met and lots of new friendships and even relationships with family members were formed.
Ive been nothing but thankful in the last few months. And even better, I am just so blessed every day. In these past few months I've seen and learned how beautiful and precious life really is. Time is way to precious to be wasted and if your not happy you gotta find ways to stay and be happy.
I was pretty upset for a while because of different things and living in NYC and the pressure of an art school was only making things worse. Leaving FIT was definitely one of the best decisions I could've made.
Life is meant to get greater each day. And In the past year or so I have really learned to just love and live and be thankful and I couldn't think of a greater way to be!

Winter Break.
I meant to post this and many other things a while ago. I've just been really busy and computer deprived the past few months...
So, I wrote this weird poem, or whatever it may be a while ago. On December 13th, 2012.. When I was riding on an LIRR train coming back to Bellport from NYC. It's really not much but these were the words that came to mind and what I was feeling on that fine ride home. Means more to me because each of these two word phrases tie into what I was feeling at the time, my hate for being in bellport during winter break.. When all those lovely college kids have returned home
For the "first big reunion", in which we are all forced to see the faces of people who we really don't care about and it's all an act... Or in some people's cases, it's returning back to your small little hometown knowing that that good ol' person you fell in love with is going to be right around the corner...
WinterBreak
Broken Bones.
Mendless Heart.
Fiery Insides.
Distant Mind.
Weak Nausea.
Welcome Home.
Hello Anxiety.
Smashed Bottles.
Eroded Shorelines.
Empty Skies.
Deserted Tracks.
Fake Hello.
Painful Goodbye.
Lustful Desires.
Forbidden Nostalgia.
But I am here.
And She is here.
Let time itself just disappear...

SomeSolemnSunsetThoughts...
After a night of some intense dreamin', the last one pretty much lingered
in my mind all day. So while watching the setting sun, this little
writing came to mind and the pen met the paper...Really not that good,
and probably a rather lame one..but I don't know, its just how I was feeling and I
will probably make it into a song and add some more...Sooo, Thanks Blue...
Feelings of Dreams, Feelings of Blue
I guess I'm just the story
that you're never gonna tell
I guess I'm just the reason
why you fell.
Last night we were living in a house on the ocean
And all through the night we endlessly felt each others motions.
Yes, this is all that my dreams have become
Since you walked out of my life
And I've got nowhere to run.
Whether I'm awake or asleep,
alone or with company
You remain all that's on my endless cycle of a mind
And its still depending on that variable
that It won't ever find.
My Sound Cloud
So after almost over a years worth of writing decent music, I have finally made a soundcloud so I can now share my music online. Here's the link, take a listen.
