Entering the Juniverse

These days I've hardly been writing.
Just working non stop, but at least I've been playing some gigs.
Hope to start creating and working on alot more these next few summer months.
It's gonna be a crazy one, but it's gonna be a good one.
It always is.
Warmer weather, warmer waves, and the never-ending sunny daze are quickly approaching us.
Thankful to be in a place as beautiful as Montauk.
Here's a little one I wrote at Ditch this fine, windy evening.

Ditch Plains                                                                                                                      6/2/13
Onshore Daze

The smell of ocean.
The taste of salt.
The moist air brushing my skin.
The haze from the west is rolling in.
Waves are crashing, crumbling, dumping and racing.

I'm taking all this in while anticipating.

Anticipating all that's to come.
All I need to learn.
All I need to feel, create,
and slowly watch burn.

If I could control it all,
I'd tell the sun to take a break,
to stay inside and disappear for a few days.

Dark is peace, the moon is home.
When I follow the moon I find that I'll
never be alone .

So I'll sit on the shore in a daze,
I'll stare at the horizon.
Forever in wonder, forever defying.

The ocean is love, the ocean is real,
without the ocean I fear I would never
know how to feel.

May 13th.

2010. BLISS
2011. FIT

2012. MTK

2013. BELLPORT1

2013. BELLPORT2

 Happy May 13th
Spent the day retracing steps
inside the fragile ruins of my mind.
Then stepped outside
into the real world
and ran through trails we used to
search out and find.

Yes, I know its three years later
I don't have any shame.
I've just accepted that my
undying love for love
is a never-ending
game.

Hopeless Romantic: This person is in love with love. They believe in fairy tales and love.
They're not to be confused as stalkers or creepy because that's what a hopeless romantic is.
All hopeless romantics are idealists, the sentimental dreamers, the imaginative, and the fanciful
when you get to know them. They often live with rose (blue) colored glasses on. They make love
look like an art form with all the romantic things they do for the one they love. It's the feeling of
being in love, and the significant things in life that make their world go 'round.

Oh, that AnnieTrezza. She's always writing songs, doodling doodles, and riding Southbound trains
to that one called Blue. She is such a hopeless romantic.

I'm a foolish hearted, worried minded, hopeless romantic girl.
Who fell in love with the idea of love
and it's become my entire world.

In love with the idea of love
and that will never change.
Since the moment I first fell in love
Well, my worlds been
so damn strange.

But this is just me,
And I can finally see
that this is how I'm meant to be.

I see, I learn, I breathe, I create.
My greatest muse is love itself
and that will never fade.

It was just me, my cycle, my books, my thoughts, The Great South Bay,
and the setting sun.
Mothers Beach, Bellport NY.

(Not really sure why I felt the need to post this. It's pretty corny and lame and weird and probably not really meant to be shared haha but oh well, i do the things i do for reasons I do not know.)

SomeSolemnSunsetThoughts...

After a night of some intense dreamin', the last one pretty much lingered in my mind all day. So while watching the setting sun, this little writing came to mind and the pen met the paper...Really not that good, and probably a rather lame one..but I don't know, its just how I was feeling and I will probably make it into a song and add some more...Sooo, Thanks Blue...

Feelings of Dreams, Feelings of Blue
I guess I'm just the story
that you're never gonna tell
I guess I'm just the reason
why you fell.
Last night we were living in a house on the ocean
And all through the night we endlessly felt each others motions.
Yes, this is all that my dreams have become
Since you walked out of my life
And I've got nowhere to run.
Whether I'm awake or asleep,
alone or with company
You remain all that's on my endless cycle of a mind
And its still depending on that variable
that It won't ever find.

A Brief Stop in NYC...

ChelseaPiers
After Philly I made a brief stop to some old roots; NYC. I was really glad to have stopped there because I was conveniently there for an old friends last day in the country; Isabel. It had been a while since we last saw each other or even spoke, but it worked out well that I just happened to be there on her last day. So we went down to a favorite NYC Spot; Chelsea Piers, with a few other good friends where we shared a last "yoint" and some good laughs. I was very grateful to have been there and get to see her before moving back to her home country in South America. This girl is defenitely one of the most interesting, amazing people I've ever met. She helped me out a lot in the past year and I can easily say shes one of the most inspirational, influential people I've come across. I snapped this shot of the setting and sun and a laughing Isabel. Like always, it was a good time.

Comfortably Surrounded By Art.

I took a trip to Philly two weeks ago to visit my best friend Sean, who goes to Temple University. Let's Just say it was four full days of nothing but smoking, skating, and jamming.
Most of these were shot with an iPhone. The first three and the last one were shot with a disposable film camera.

Here's a link to one of our jams that I just happened to record on my iphone..You never know what you can come up with while lost in a jam. This is complete improv and the lyrics in the end just flowed. One of the coolest songs we've collabed on, and after this trip I realized how Sean Burke is the best person for me to play music with. We pretty much read each others minds, as you can hear on this track, and our musical connection is great. I titled this, The "Epic Session".
