SomeSolemnSunsetThoughts...

After a night of some intense dreamin', the last one pretty much lingered in my mind all day. So while watching the setting sun, this little writing came to mind and the pen met the paper...Really not that good, and probably a rather lame one..but I don't know, its just how I was feeling and I will probably make it into a song and add some more...Sooo, Thanks Blue...

Feelings of Dreams, Feelings of Blue
I guess I'm just the story
that you're never gonna tell
I guess I'm just the reason
why you fell.
Last night we were living in a house on the ocean
And all through the night we endlessly felt each others motions.
Yes, this is all that my dreams have become
Since you walked out of my life
And I've got nowhere to run.
Whether I'm awake or asleep,
alone or with company
You remain all that's on my endless cycle of a mind
And its still depending on that variable
that It won't ever find.

My Sound Cloud

A Brief Stop in NYC...

ChelseaPiers
After Philly I made a brief stop to some old roots; NYC. I was really glad to have stopped there because I was conveniently there for an old friends last day in the country; Isabel. It had been a while since we last saw each other or even spoke, but it worked out well that I just happened to be there on her last day. So we went down to a favorite NYC Spot; Chelsea Piers, with a few other good friends where we shared a last "yoint" and some good laughs. I was very grateful to have been there and get to see her before moving back to her home country in South America. This girl is defenitely one of the most interesting, amazing people I've ever met. She helped me out a lot in the past year and I can easily say shes one of the most inspirational, influential people I've come across. I snapped this shot of the setting and sun and a laughing Isabel. Like always, it was a good time.

The Sky's The Limit...

Comfortably Surrounded By Art.

I took a trip to Philly two weeks ago to visit my best friend Sean, who goes to Temple University. Let's Just say it was four full days of nothing but smoking, skating, and jamming.
Most of these were shot with an iPhone. The first three and the last one were shot with a disposable film camera.

Here's a link to one of our jams that I just happened to record on my iphone..You never know what you can come up with while lost in a jam. This is complete improv and the lyrics in the end just flowed. One of the coolest songs we've collabed on, and after this trip I realized how Sean Burke is the best person for me to play music with. We pretty much read each others minds, as you can hear on this track, and our musical connection is great. I titled this, The "Epic Session".
The Epic Session

Tegan and Sara

A week ago I was fortunate enough to see two of my favorite modern day singer/songwriters, Tegan and Sara, at The Bowery Ballroom in NYC. These are just a few shots I took. The girls were pretty much perfect. Played every song so well and played all the ones that mean the most to me. "Call It Off", "Back in Your Head", "Dark Come Soon", "The Con", "Nineteen", and new ones I hadn't heard yet. The last song was "Feel It In My Bones" and it was amazing, better then any recording I've ever heard. The feeling of seeing musicians that mean so much to your every day life is pretty much  indescribable. What really stuck out with Tegan and Sara was the emotions they put into every song. Being a musician and performer, I know the feelings of playing your own songs and how much emotion it brings out and how great it makes you feel. It was really cool to see how much they put into every song, no matter how old or new. Their expressions just leave you thinking what was it they were writing about, and how significant these songs may be to them. It's just really cool to be able to connect with them so close and personally. I recommend seeing them to anyone who likes their music. Not only does there music sound phenomenal live, there interaction with the audience is perfect. They have great senses of humour and they're also adorable. They are easily one of my biggest influences and every day I'm so grateful for their music.

SomeSaltySummerLivin'

A few shots from August and September. Shot with a waterproof disposable. These sum up each days daily activities. Surfing and soaking up sun. I like to think of this past summer as the beginning of my life as an endless summer. From here on each day just gets better and better. No worries or troubles. Just laughs, exploring, and doing things I love. The last shot captures a friend's ride during the session in which I surfed until long after the moon came up and long after the sun went down. My first full moon session and the feeling was near indescribable...
